OUR STORY
Kuntau Specialist Hospital Ltd is a private healthcare facility located in Dorayi Karama Gandun Sarki, Gwale LGA of kano State. Founded in 2025, its history is closely tied to the increase demand for specialised medical services. The hospital was established to address healthcare needs in Kano, particularly for families seeking affordable yet specialised services. It is registered with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and the relevant Private Hospital Registration Authority. It also participates as a provider under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), broadening access for insured patients.
Prof. Mustapha Zakariya Karkarna is owner and founder of the hospital. He is known for his broader contributions to education and community development through Kuntau Science Academy Schools, and the hospital is part of his efforts to provide health services in Kano. It was founded with a core goal of delivering quality patient care in and around the community.
